Steppin’ in Virginia: Steppin’ originated in Chicago, Illinois and is now an international dance culture. There’s a large and friendly network of Steppers around the state and nation that hosts events for all adults to enjoy. In Virginia, we support: Keep-N-Step, RVA, Heart & Soul Steppers, NYCE Entertainment, Stepper’s Flow, and Silky Smooth Dance Studio.
-
Steppin’ Music: Typically, Steppers dance to the smooth grooves of classic and contemporary R & B, funk, and soul music. Artists like Curtis Mayfield, Archie Bell and the Dells to those like Carmichael, Rockwell Hallman, Maysa, and others are a part of the Stepper’s playlist.
